Duties and Responsibilities:
A western medicine doctor practices their field of work using industrialized medications instead of natural herbs like a eastern medicine doctor would normally use.

Salary:
$50,000 - $300,000

Education:
You will first need to receive a high school diploma then advance to a university or college to receive further education.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to become one? Why? Why not?
No, I would not like to become a Western Medicine Doctor. I say no because I no longer want to pursue into the medical field anymore.

Eastern Medicine Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities:
These doctors treat disorders and illnesses using traditional Chinese practices. these doctors still treat their patients regularly. As in diagnosing the patient in order to see what needs to be done.

Salary:
They make approximately $30,000 - $15,000 a year.

Education:
an eastern medicine doctor must first have a high school diploma, then go on to a college or university. once they earn a bachelor's degree then start several training programs.

Reflection:
No, I would not like to become an eastern medicine doctor. I say no because I am already aware of what career I want to pursue.

Duties and responsibilities:
The united states military offers hundreds of medical jobs. these jobs may range from medics to physicians to nurses. a requirement to become a medical professional would be to make it to their physical health standards. if you have any sort of impairment, or any type of disability, they may disqualify you from acceptance.

Salary:
it ranges from $18,000 - $60,000

Education:
Besides having to stay physically fit, you will receive paid training and education. you may also receive your medical degree, nursing degree, or other healthcare training.

No, I would rather be in the military than be in the medical area of it.

An oriental medicine doctor is a broad range of medicines practices. these practices share common concepts that were developed in China. most of their practices are based off of tradition from more than 2,000 years ago.

the length of training at most is 3 years of acupuncture, and another 4 years for the acupuncture medicine.

No I would not like to become one. I would rather pursue into a different career.

sport medicine doctors will diagnose and treat athletes or other active people suffering from a sport related injury. sport medicine doctors will work with other medical professionals such as surgeons, physical therapists, physiologists, nutritionists, and coaches to help the person in recovery.

Acupuncturists treat patients that suffer from aches, tension, injuries and other ailments. they use a method of needling, and herbal medicine.

Acupuncturists usually need a degree at bachelor's or doctoral level. the masters degree programs usually take up to 3-4 years to complete. doctoral degree programs usually take up to six semesters to complete.

Periodontists are dentists that treat problems with a patient's teeth, gums, and related parts of the mouth. other duties may include removing decay, repairing cracked or fractured teeth, and using an x-ray on the jaw area.

if you wish to become a periodontist, you will at least need a bachelor's degree to enter a dental school. you should also take the most challenging high school courses in chemistry, physics, biology, anatomy, and mathematics.

Duties and Responsibilities:
ENT's evaluate a patients overall health, specific symptoms, and they may also examine the patient for signs of an injury or ailment. ENT's also use specialized equipment that allows the doctor to see into the throat. other tools may be able to let them see inside the inner ear.

Education:
to become an ENT you must need an undergraduate degree to gain acceptance to most medical schools. they may often major in biology, anatomy, chemistry, or biochemistry.

speech pathologists diagnose, treat, asses, and help people to prevent any communication problems, one such as a swallowing disorder. other duties may include communicating with their patients to see their level of speech, identify treatment options, and create and carrying out the treatment plan.  they may also teach their patients how to improve their voices, teach alternative communication methods, and counsel patients on how to cope with their communication disorders.

if you wish to become a speech pathologist, the standard level of education would be a master's degree. certain programs may be needed before entering the program.

no, I would not like to become one I say no because this career doesn't interest me as a life long career. I would rather do something else.

sonographers work with equipment that allows them to produce images of internal organs, diseased masses, and fetuses. these images would then be used to treat the patients problems. sonographers may also check a patient's medical histories, explain procedures, and produce the images.

Education:
If you wish to become a sonographer, you should be willing to take the most challenging high school courses in science, math, and English. training programs are offered in community colleges and hospitals. these trainings can be completed in one to four years depending on work experience.

no, I would not like to become a x-ray technician. I would prefer a career that does not relate to the medical field anymore.

if you wish to work in the field of a radiation therapist, you should take challenging high school courses in science, math, and English. you can train to become a radiation therapist over a one to two year program, they are offered by hospitals. a high school diploma or a GED is required to enter a two year course.

I believe this quote is saying that when we choose the right, we feel better on the inside such as emotionally, and mentally stable. in other words, we feel better after choosing good choices in life. we may each differ in how we may feel better, but it would be for the better.

Duties and Responsibilities:
psychologists are meant to study the behavior and actions of people to understand a difference in their behavior patterns. they may also provide counseling or therapy to those in need of it. psychologists work in schools, clinics, hospitals, and private practice. their duties may also include interviewing patients, developing and administrating tests, counseling others, developing mental health programs.

$45,000 - $65,000

Educational Requirements:
if you wish to become a psychologist, you should take challenging AP or IB high school courses in English and science. you must earn a Ph.D in psychology to become a licensed psychologist.

No I would not like to become a psychologist. I say no because I wouldn't be very good at dealing with other people's problem, and I would prefer to follow into a different career.

Education:
Psychiatrists must have the requirements for a degree in a allopathic or osteopathic medicine. they must also undergo a three year residency in psychiatry.
