I agree with this quote by Thomas. I agree that obedience is the great test of life. Obedience will always be something that will follow you throughout your entire life. Obedience is basically in everyone's life. between the laws we follow everyday to stay out of jail, to the basic house rules we follow to stay out of trouble.

I believe this quote is saying that, without obedience it would be a lot harder for people to learn. as to if you were to have obedience then you would get a lot more done, but also you will learn more. Without obedience, it would almost be impossible to learn.

Obedience is the act of following with an order, request, or law to another's authority.

Synonyms: Obey, compliance, deference, duty, submission, conformity.
Example: An obedient soldier will follow a command even if it meant he would probably be killed following it.
