Medical Illustrators
Duties and Responsibilities:
Medical illustrators create graphics for textbooks,
journals, magazines, and educational films. They also create illustrations that
help in the creation of artificial body parts. They can also be called upon for
modeling skills.
Salary:
$35,000 - $50,000
Education:
If you wish to become a medical illustrator you should take a
college preparatory program in high school. They should major in art or also
major in science. Most medical illustrators have a master’s degree. To finally
become one, you need a portfolio review, and a completion pf a national examination.
Reflection: Do you
think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?
I would not really look into this career because i already know i am not a very good drawer, so i'd rather leave this career to someone i know will do good at it.
