this is such a great quote, in my opinion i think this means that he did what he thought was good, and for the sake of others. not to become the best.





Epidemiologist

Duties and responsibilities:
Epidemiologists study the frequency and distribution of diseases within human populations and and environments. Specifically, they measure the incidence of disease occurrence and relate it to different characteristics of populations and environments. Epidemiologists perform research, education and public health practice in universities, government agencies, international organizations, and private corporations. 

Epidemiologists often:

·         Work on developing or refining methods of measuring and evaluating disease occurrences.
·         Develop and recommend public health policy.
·         Study or research chronic diseases, infectious diseases, disease outbreaks, injuries, occupations, and environments.

Average Salary: $30,000 - $50,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should take the most challenging high school courses  (including AP or IB courses) available in science, math, and English.
Epidemiologists have, as minimum, master’s degrees in public health. Undergraduate requirements for admissions into public health graduate programs vary by schools but usually include strong backgrounds in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and or statistics.

Environmental Health Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities:

Environmental health specialists monitor health and safety conditions in residential, industrial, commercial, and recreational settings. The main purpose of Environmental Health Specialists is to determine possible health hazards and to take steps to prevent it.

Average Salary:  $37,300 - $57,551

Education:

You need at least a bachelor’s degree. Also course work in chemistry, biology, public health, physical sciences, and environmental engineering. If you wish to work for the government you will have to take a certification course.

I would not want to be this only because the job just doesn't seem to interest me as a long term job that i would want to be in for years to come.

Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and responsibilities:

Emergency Medical Technicians respond to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the ill and injured, also they transport the patient to a medical facility. When called to pick a patient up, the EMT must make sure of weather and traffic conditions before they set out. They also have to  find the fastest possible routes to the destination.

Average Yearly Salary:  $27,000 - $36,000

Education:

They must conduct a physical examination to see if you are fit for this job, hands-on training, they finally take a test that is roughly 4-8s of everything that is learned in lectures, presentations, skill labs, and simulations.

No, i would not want to proceed towards this career, i say no because this career doesn't really seem to interest me.

Well i personally believe that this statement is self explanatory, well it is saying that you should choose the right.
Electroneurodiagnostic technologist

Duties and responsibilities:
Electroneurodiagnostic technologists use electronic graphs to determine if patients are suffering from a central nervous system condition or disease like epilepsy, tumors, stroke, or trauma. The graphs are records of the brain’s electrical activity.

Electroneurodiagnostic technologist usually work in hospitals, laboratories, or physicians’ offices.

They:

  • ·         Prepare medical records.
  • ·         Apply electrodes and select instrument settings
  • ·         Perform electroneurodiagnostic tests.
  • ·         Adjust and maintain their equipment
  • ·         Record test results
  • ·         Identify patient abnormalities

Average Salary: $20,000 - $35,000

Educational requirements:

Electroneurodiagnostic technologists must have a high school diploma and some courses in computer technology before beginning specialized training.
Electroneurodiagnostic training can be obtained through vocational schools, community colleges, and in some cases hospitals. Training takes one year and is followed by another year of supervised experience. Before beginning practice electroneurodiagnostic technologists must pass written and oral examinations.

I would not want to be an electroneurodiagnostic. i say no because, this career doesn't seem to interest me as a career i would enjoy in the long run.

Electrocardiograph (ECG or EKG) technicians usually work under the supervision of cardiologists in hospitals, doctors’ offices, clinics, or bedside. They operate electrocardiogram equipment to monitor patients’ heart problems.

·         Insert and remove catheters
·         Monitor equipment output
·         Record test results
·         Identify emergencies or abnormalities
·         Operate ultrasound equipment

Duties and responsibilities:

Dialysis Technicians operate machines that remove waste and excess fluids from the blood of patients whose kidneys can no longer carry out those functions. Dialysis technicians are also referred to as renal dialysis technicians, hemodialysis technicians, or nephrology technicians. They work under the supervision of physicians, primarily in hospitals and clinics.
Dialysis technicians must fully understand the operation of the kidney dialysis machines. They are responsible for their operation, cleaning, and sterilization. They must also fully understand their patients’ needs. Dialysis technicians carefully monitor and record weight and vital signs before, during, and after blood cleansing procedures. Additionally, they instruct patients about in-home treatments. Because dialysis technicians work with blood, they must exercise strict safety precautions against infectious diseases such as hepatitis and AIDS.
