Pharmacy Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:
Pharmacy Technicians work in pharmacies under the direction of pharmacists. their main role is to fill prescriptions according to the doctor's orders for patients. They measure the correct amounts of medication for the customer. they may also add drugs towards different solutions. all their work is checked by a pharmacist at the end to make sure their work is correct. technicians may also check the supplies, receive supplies, keep their area clean, and help fill out insurance forms.

Average Salary:
$15,000 - $25,000

Education:
if you wish to become a pharmacy technician, you should take high school courses in math, science, and typing. a high school diploma is needed to begin the training, a 2 year course, and a six month program.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?
No, I would not like to become one, I already chose what I want to become in the future. it no longer involves the medical field.
