Sonographer (Ultrasound Technician)

 Duties and Responsibilities:
sonographers work with equipment that allows them to produce images of internal organs, diseased masses, and fetuses. these images would then be used to treat the patients problems. sonographers may also check a patient's medical histories, explain procedures, and produce the images.

Salary:
$24,000 - $38,000

Education:
If you wish to become a sonographer, you should be willing to take the most challenging high school courses in science, math, and English. training programs are offered in community colleges and hospitals. these trainings can be completed in one to four years depending on work experience.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to become one? Why? Why not?
no, I would not like to become a sonographer. I say no because I'm not interested in this career, and I would rather do something else.
