Ophthalmic Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ophthalmic technicians are the ones who help ophthalmologists collect data and measurements. these measurements can help receive the correct diagnosis for treatment of eye diseases and problems. Ophthalmic technicians work in hospitals, clinics, or in private practices. they also can take simple eye exams, assist a eye surgery, and or explain the whole process towards the patient.

Salary:
$14,000 - $25,000

Education:
To become a ophthalmic technician you will need a high school diploma, and also two years of college prior to beginning ophthalmic training programs.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? why? why not?
No i would not like to become a ophthalmic technician because it is something that does not really interest me/ neither am i patient enough to do what they are asked to do.
