Ophthalmologist

Duties and Responsibilities:
they are physicians who specialize on treatment for eye disorders and diseases. they treat vision problems and also write prescriptions for pharmaceuticals and corrective eyeglass lenses. they may also perform eye surgery. although most of them are in private practice, some are employed by hospitals, clinics. and others may perform research.

Average Salary:
$90,000 - $150,000

Educational Requirements:
Only physicians can study to become ophthalmologists. you also need to complete medical school and an internship. then, they must complete a three to five year in a approved ophthalmology program. They must also pass an examination to be certified.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? why or why not?
No, i would not like to become one. i say no to to this career because not only does it not interest me, i would rather follow my goal to becoming a marine.
