Student Success Statement Calvin Coolidge

Student Success Statement

"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence."
TALENT will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
GENIUS will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
EDUCATION will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. the slogan 'press on' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."
-President Calvin Coolidge
(30th president of US 1872-1933)

I agree with this statement by our 30th president, Calvin Coolidge. I agree with his ideas because it speaks of the truth. without our effort to achieve something, and also the right mind set. There's no way we can achieve anything. As long as we really want to achieve something and actually strive to achieve this goal by putting our time and effort into this, will we actually get better at it, or even become the very best at it.
