Duties and responsibilities:
Optical laboratory technicians fit eyeglass lenses on their frames and also grind them down to size. they use a lens grinding machine when it comes to the process of having to ground and polish the lenses into their frames.

Salary:
$15,000 - $20,000

Education:
if you would like to become a optical laboratory technician you would need a high school diploma or GED to begin the training needed for this job. training programs usually last around six months, to a whole year. some departments may actually provide on-the-job training.

no, i would not like to become a optical laboratory technician. i say no because this job does not quite seem to actually catch my attention, also i would prefer to follow into a different career.
